Gaming optimizer, in depth.

Fixato tunes the things that actually move FPS and cut latency — GPU drivers, power plan, background load — and measures the difference. No placebo "boost."

In plain language

Most "game boosters" just show a fake speedometer. Fixato works on the real levers a knowledgeable gamer would: the right GPU driver, a performance power plan, and clearing what's stealing frames in the background.

Under the hood

It reads your GPU, driver version, power plan, temperatures, driver-reset history and live process load. Every change it makes is a standard Windows or driver setting, and it tells you up front what each one costs you.

What moves FPS

Real levers, measured.

Your GPU and driver, power plan, thermals and background load — the things that genuinely change frame rates, shown honestly.

  • Reads your exact GPU and driver version.
  • Targets the real bottleneck, not a fake meter.
  • No invented "boost": if nothing is holding you back, it says so.

What it inspects

Where your frames actually go.

Read-only. Fixato finds the real limiter before touching anything.

GPU & driver

Your exact graphics card and whether a genuinely newer signed driver exists — a stale driver leaves performance on the table.

Named toolsget_gpu_infocheck_driver_updates

Power plan & gaming settings

Whether Windows is holding your hardware back to save power, and how your gaming-related settings are configured.

Named toolsget_power_planget_gaming_config

Thermals

Whether heat is throttling your CPU mid-game — the cause behind a lot of "it drops after 20 minutes".

Named toolget_temperatures

Background load

Which programs are eating CPU behind your game, named one by one rather than lumped into a scary total.

Named toolget_cpu_load_by_process

Driver resets (TDR)

Windows' record of your graphics driver crashing and restarting — the concrete signal behind stutter, freezes and crashes to desktop.

What it tunes (with your yes)

Then it clears the runway.

Your confirmation first, and every change is a standard Windows or driver setting — nothing exotic, nothing hidden. Fixato tells you what each one costs before you say yes.

Update the GPU driver

Installs the signed driver Windows Update offers for your card — often the biggest single FPS gain.

Set a performance power plan

Switches Windows to the High performance plan so your hardware stops throttling itself to save power. One click to switch back.

Clear the shader cache

Empties the compiled-shader caches behind stutter after a driver update. Your first minutes in a game rebuild them — that's the trade.

Named toolclear_shader_cache

End a process that's eating your CPU

Closes a specific background program that's competing with your game. It is not an undo: Fixato tells you to save your work in that program first, and system-critical processes are refused outright.
